What Are Comfort Zones? And Why Should We Escape?
<view this essay>.... they give us a false sense of security and well-being.
It is when we are comfortable that we are not motivated to confront our own ambitions and feelings and simply run away from them - and are doomed to remain trapped in our golden cages of Comfort.
When we are comfortable, our activities and behaviour tend to take on familiar patterns. Patterns become habits; habits become routines; and before we know it those routines become a rut. And the only difference between a rut and a grave is the depth of the hole!
The results of being in a Comfort Zone are that we simply shut off any ideas of alternatives, of options that lie outside our own narrow existence .....

The Violent Reality Of Gangs
<view this essay>.... in society, I believe there is good evidence to point the blame at several institutions. These include the forces of the media, the government, theatre, drugs and our economic system.
On the surface, gangs are caused by peer pressure and greed. Many teens in gangs will pressure peers into becoming part of a gang by making it all sound glamorous. Money is also an crucial factor. A kid (a 6-10 year old, who is not yet a member) is shown that s/he could make $200 to $400 for small part time gang jobs. Although these are important factors they are not strong enough to make kids do things that are strongly against their morals.

The War On...Dress Codes
<view this essay>.... they have very few problems associated with it. So if it’s not causing a problem at those schools, why doesn’t our school allow it? Some say that it would be a distraction to the students’ education. In reality, that probably wouldn’t be true. If everyone was allowed to dress anyway they wanted to, the student body would get used to see that sort of clothing and it would become just another part of going to school. Actually, most of the time, any problems caused due to clothing are usually due to someone stealing someone else’s expensive clothes, such as Tommy Hilfiger, which we are allowed to wear.
Numerous students would also like to wear shirts and othe .....

matters to be handled by the civil authorities.
The Constitution of the United States did nothing to limit the rights of
the states to enact their own laws governing marriage and divorce. Despite
several efforts to amend the Constitution, to allow Congress to pass federal
legislation on divorce, to this day the states retain separate laws. Because
divorce laws vary from state to state, the "migratory divorce" developed:
couples would move temporarily to a state where divorce was easier to obtain
than at home. For example, a couple living in New York State, where until 1967
the only grounds for divorce was adultery, would establish residence in .....
