Something That Has Changed Your Life
<view this essay>.... that I was this way until a friend had told me something that she had noticed about me. She had said that she thought I did not show any true emotions. I clearly did not feel the same way so I tried to justify my case. However, she is stubborn in a good way, in that she will not change her opinion, until given hard facts, which I did not have any. The conversation ended there, but for the rest of the evening I thought about what she had said. I guessed she was right, but I kept asking myself why was it that I was like this. I kept thinking about it, but I gave up, probably because I did not want to worry myself about the subject.

Oedipus Rex 2
<view this essay>.... filled with paradox and irony. Given these difficulties, Sophocles regards the life of man with utmost respect and admiration.
In Oedipus Rex, it is Oedipus who represents Sophocles’ ideal human hero. He displays the defining qualities of a morally correct human. Oedipus, unlike Odysseus in the Odyssey, another Greek work, had no divine influence, yet he still is able to continue for the truth after much hardship. Given all the circumstances, Oedipus still manages to live through to the end without losing composure. Sophocles would definitely honor such a man.
Both Oedipus’ life and his kingdom were filled with riddles, paradoxes, and myster .....
