The Ideal Dinner (Billy Corgan, Jimi Hendrix, And G. Washington)
<view this essay>.... do not even have to rhyme, but they flow together so
beautifully, that you do not even notice. I would ask him about his future
albums, projects, and ideas to gain a better understanding of poetry,
lyrics, and songwriting. He is very intelligent, and I think he has a lot
to share with everyone. His diversity, talent, and his ability to be
ferocious and graceful at the same time would make me want to invite Billy
Corgan to dinner.
I would invite Jimi Hendrix because he was one of the greatest
guitarists of all time, despite his drug habits. Hendrix was ahead of his
time with the music he played. He introduced a whole new style of rock
guitar. Hi .....

Personal Writing: What I Learned This Semester In English Class
<view this essay>.... adjustment for me. I went through high
school writing what I now know to be not-so-good papers, but received good
grades for them. Then, I thought they were good because of the grades I
got. Now, I find myself working over twice as hard for half the grade.
This isn't a completely bad thing, though. It teaches me that my writing
really wasn't very good. What I used to think deserved an "A" I now
realize only does deserve a "C." Now I have to take my writing more
seriously, and try much harder at producing good output. Also, my goal
isn't to write a paper that will get a good grade. Now, my goal is to
write better papers. I write to become a better wr .....

Creative Story: One Strange Trip
<view this essay>.... up and asked me to indulge in a cold
refreshing drink. Another dream I had was where every five minutes the machine
gave me a can from now until eternity.
When I awoke I jumped up and turned around to see if any of the dreams
were true. I quickly saw that they were not. I decided that I could not leave
this place until I had enjoyed a can of pop. By the 3rd day, I had to scout for
food and water because I was feeling malnourished. As I walked around I found a
snack machine the kind with many divine foods inside such as candy bar and chips,
but still no way to eat them. I stayed here until morning trying to rig a
transport of some sort for it. I cut .....

Personal Writing: Taking The Merkler Interest And Personality Type Self Assessment
<view this essay>.... This tends to make it hard for me to do things "by the book." I
am more motivated to do things my own way. I greatly value my being
independent. The Merkler stated that my "artistic" values are expressed
through music, writing, and/or design. This statement rings very true in
my case. I have played the piano and saxophone, sang at events, and am
learning how to play the guitar. I was also a journalism major at one
point, winning awards in writing competitions, and still desiring to write
a book someday. I am also wanting to make a career out of computer and
software design. Although I could be very creative in writing essays, the
Merkler stated .....

Character Study: Local Residents
<view this essay>.... as the traffic roars by. This surely must cause damage to the structure of the house. The terrace houses hug the road and at night trucks speed through the village because the traffic is light. My fear is that one of these trucks could veer off the road into our homes. During the day when traffic is stationary drivers stare into the house through the window. Quite a lot of the time the front room can be in darkness because the trucks are so large that when in standing traffic they block most of the light to the house.
There is nowhere for my husband to park his car. It is difficult to park outside the house because the road is quite narrow and the traffic n .....

Nowhere, Kansas
<view this essay>.... our way back from a vacation we took back east when our car started to die. We were about a hundred feet away from the next exit when the dumb car finally broke down completely. This nice lady gave us a ride into the town, which was about three blocks long, and that’s where we were, waiting for the outcome.
A middle-aged, tall man with dark hair, and a thin mustache walked by us, as to get our attention. This skinny man with his apron tied around his small waste started to bustle around picking up a few boxes, “Sorry about the mess,” he replied, in a strong southern accent “just a few days ago we met head on with a twister.”
I looked at my cousin with a slight .....

Creative Writing: A Day At The Park
<view this essay>.... seem
to have the time, nor the money. We decided to splurge and buy general
admission tickets. Well it was about three hours before the game, and one hour
before I got through with work. All of a sudden my phone rings, and it was my
mother-in-law "wondering" if I wanted a couple of free view box tickets and a
parking pass, for that nights Ranger game. I couldn't have been more excited,
much less believe my luck.
After I got off work , and picked up the tickets, I raced home to get
my wife and son ready to go. Over the next half hour, I almost regretted
having to bring my son, what with the hassle of getting the diaper bag packed ,
the traffic, .....
