My First Job At Buzzy's Diner
<view this essay>.... stools where people
who come there by themselves go to eat and read the newspaper. The tables and
the countertop are an off-white color underneath a pattern of random gray lines
that looks like shattered glass. The seats for the tables are dark wooden
benches, many of them are dented and scratched from their years of use. In one
corner there is an ancient cigarette machine (the kind with levers you have to
pull to get your cigarettes) and an old fashioned penny gumball machine.
The walls of the room are divided horizontally by molding. The bottom
four feet of the walls consist of wood paneling that matches the benches. The
top half is covered with an ugly .....

myself, Cameron. We basically just pushed people around for kicks. Usually
people that were half our size and walked around by themselves. We liked to
blow up people's letter boxes the most, usually just at random. Whenever

they felt unwelcome and had no friends. Usually they left the school, we
loved it when they did that. Anyway, back to the story... On Friday
afternoon, just after school, we were all walking home talking about how
much of a loser this new guy was. By the time we got to the end of the
street, we had all agreed that we should do something totally outrage .....

My realization of death started with a phone call. My mother answers, it’s my aunt, Burma. I glance over to my mother; her face is overcome by a look of sadness. “How’s Patsy handling it?” My mother asks. Later, after what seemed to be a very emotionally draining conversation, my mother comes to me. She tells me that my aunt, Patsy’s daughter Trisha has died. I never knew her well, so up to this point I did not have much of an emotional reaction to the news. However, I knew that her death would devastate her .....

had in common was our goal to consume alcohol.
As soon as I walked in the room I immediately could see and smell the

towards the basement. As I pushed my way through the crowd to look for the
keg I immediately knew it was in the corner because of the crowd surrounding it.
Once I reached the keg, I found myself waiting once again for my beer. The
