Creative Writing: A Night Fishing
<view this essay>.... of them told my mom what (a friends name) and I did then our
little butts would have been grounded for a serious amount of time. The fishing
stories that I told where true, all true.
(a friends name) and I had gone on many explorations to far off places. We had
sneaking out at night down to such an art that if we could put it on paper then
it would be more famous then Leonardo da Vinci's painting, The Last Supper. We
would sometimes make dummy bodies that would lie lifeless all night under
tightly nitid sheets. The Abig yellow house@ is where we met. From there we
would do whatever sounded like the most fun. Sometimes it was hanging out and
eating ice c .....

A Modern Interpretation Of Everyman (the Excerpt)
<view this essay>.... we do every day. And the reigning state of human
affairs, and how quickly they do decay. For the people have forgotten,
their Christian and goodly ways. And instead sit at home and ponder, how
exactly to spend their days. Their days of sin and gluttony, of indulgence
and of cuckoldry. The days which will fade away, and leave the signs of
sin and of adultery. At any rate I promise the show will be a thing to
remember and a good thing to retain, for it fortells of how God will judge
us and our deeds, and the anguish and the pain. Of those who would not
change their ways, to do well and to be kind. So once the show is over it
would do you good to keep thes .....

On Taunting Lacy Lou
<view this essay>.... Now, the grass roamed without fear of reprisal in and out of every nook and cranny the small yard could offer. Trampoline springs sprouted out of the cold ground as if they were gasping for one eternal breath before succumbing to burial. As I traveled further through this jungle, my eyes gazed upon the tree. The tree, our tree, had been a goalie for soccer, a hiding place for man- hunt, and a shelter for all sorrows. The tree seemed to guard the tomb where we had buried her that cold July morning. She had died peacefully and painlessly. At least those thoughts are what I clung to after waking up drenched in cold sweat and tears. With the whisper of a breeze, .....

My Brother Christopher Mikula

together. He had so much to say and he was full of good advice. He began to
treat me like a friend. When I was down he would try to get me up. When I was
frustrated he told me to hit him and nobody else, When I was hurt inside he
would sit there and just listen even if I didn't make any sense. His time at
home was precious to me and I took full advantage of him being home. When he
left I was losing not only a brother but a friend !
Five years have pasted since my brother first left home. I'm away at
school and having a good time doing it. My brother goes to school just a ways
down the road. We have g .....

Personal Writing: "Lost In The Mess"
<view this essay>.... of aged magazines, cut and torn for the purposes of schoolwork, then tossed in the general direction of the bookshelf. Carrots, dulled from their natural bright orange to a clouded orange, bread, crispy and no longer fluffy littered the crevices between the open drawers. Too full with clothes, (clean or dirty I can't be sure) they protruded into the already limited open space. Accessories lost in the thick brown carpeting, necklaces, earings, barrettes and more strung out from end to end of my room. Fallen pushpins in the bed from the cluttered bulletin board above, suspended by one thin wire, swaying with the slightest breath of air. An overwhelming sten .....

How I Learned To Ski
<view this essay>.... hill and make the number eight in the snow with
your skies, the team with the best looking eight's win. As usually my father won,
and that day was when he first taught me how to ski. He showed me how to snow-
plow down a hill, that is your first move you learn upon skiing, then he so ever
willingly took me to the bunny hill and watched intently as if he remembers when
he was that age and how strange and awkward he felt with those clumsy skis and
big boots. That day was so hot but yet the snow remained and kept falling from
the ski. Then my father showed me the basic techniques he acquired while
learning how to ski, you see there is no standard way to ski eve .....

Great Soap face soap. I start at my lips moving to my nose, and then the
rest of my face. After I rinse my face I dry my face I start to get
dressed.
First I pull off my pajamas. Next I put on my socks, the left one

once. I then put on my shoes, right then left. I put on my shirt which is
always 100% cotton. Now that I'm dressed it is time to fix my hair.
I pull my hair up using three clips, a big one and two small ones,
all made by Goody. The big clip holds the majority of my hair, while the
two smaller ones hold down my fly away wings. I do not use hair spray.

Creative Writing: Siege Of Yorktown
<view this essay>.... heavy protection, for it was a dark and rainy night. We
laid down pine wood end-to-end so troops would know where to dig trenches. The
trenches allowed 100 cannons to be close to the British but still be under
protection. Soldiers were moved to the area and issued shovels and picks. It
was truly a patriotic moment to see General Washington break the first ground at
the Siege of Yorktown.
We had sent a small band of men to the western side of us to fire on the
British. Our plan worked and all the British inside were soon firing on them
while we dug our trenches. When dawn came around they saw their mistake and
started firing on us but no harm was done. .....
