That night my spouse and I put our kids to bed early, so we could watch the
lottery on TV. After wrestling the kids to bed, we went back into the
living room and made our self comfortable on the couch. We then began to
talk about how exciting it would be if we won the lottery, as well on how
we would spend all the money. The talk consisted of where we would go and
how to invest it, and what type of vehicles we would go out and buy, along
with our new house. Then the phone rang and brought us back to realty,

A Day At The Beach
<view this essay>.... now, in my six year old eyes the water seems
to be a mile away. Again I look out to the ocean which seems to stretch for
days in all directions. I am determined to reach it, no matter what sacrifices
I must make. I step forward again testing the sand, still white hot. I pull
my courage from the corners of my being and make a run for it. This isn't so
bad if I run really fast. The wind blows in my face, bringing with it that
smell, almost a taste of the ocean. It seems to be a combination of fish, salt,
people, and water all mixed into one. I continue to run until I reach the
water's edge where the waves crash upon the beach, making the white sand brown .....

account after she accuses. My mother is more opinionated rather than
factual. She would use what she thought about a person rather than using
