.... disguise becomes increasing more important as the events take place. The majority of the plot lines depend on the disguise. Without it, the main theme of the play would be the gulling of Malvolio. In a play where most of the characters fall in love with each other, blind to the gender and true identity of the objects of their desires, a disguise like Viola's becomes the center of the action, and causes almost all the of the important aspects of the play. The confusion that Sebastian creates when he returns would not occur without Viola's disguise. Sir Andrew believes that the woman of his desires, Olivia, is spending too much time with Cesari .....

Macbeth’s life was forever changed by the witches’ prophecies. Lady Macbeth and the witches exploited Macbeth’s flaw, his flaw of being easily influenced. A true villain does not let others bring out the evil in them. They bring it out themselves. Macbeth was a man plagued by his own bad decisions. When .....

Both Jews were placed in time where "anti-Semitism was in fashion" (Palmer 113), and both thrown into court where they would be tried unjustly. The story of Roderigo Lopez sets the tone for The Merchant of Venice. Lopez' incident occurred in 1594, The Merchant of Venice was written only two years later. Anti-Semitism was prevalent during Shakespeares' time, and therefore we must understand that it was as easy for him to make a Jewish man the villain as it would be for us to make a Nazi .....

.... town accused other people of being witches for any reason. People in the town accused people of witchcraft for many things. They basically accused them for doing weird things. There were some girls that would do a lot of weird things in the town. For example when Abigail drank the blood, people thought that she was a witch so they would accuse her of being a witch. The townspeople accused people of being a witch mostly because of this reason. Another big reason that someone would be a witch is that they did not like that person or they were just scared of them. Sometimes if you saw someone walking and they looked funny or just doing something .....

He was a man who wanted power and not having the power to control the aspect of life made him frustrated with the whole concept. In laymen's term, he gave up. Macbeth did not want to deal with life and focused on it as just a "walking shadow, a poor player that struts and frets his hour upon the stage and then is heard no more" (V.v.25-27. As he saw it, life was like a big production where everyone has a time limit on what they have to do. This particular philosophy is brought on by the .....

He was educated and learned to speak Latin with his uncle who he also took him on a pilgrimage to Rome. He returned home to Scotland while in his late twenties to raise crops and a family. He soon was married to a girl he knew as a kid .....

The Ding Dong School offered the conversation, low-key instruction, commercials, and entertainment of Miss. Frances, a professional teacher. With the help of these types of shows, a new genre was born. Children's television which was a mixture of songs, education, fun, and a whole lot more. In 1969, the first airing of "Sesame Street" took place. Sesame Street had programs which were sponsored by different letters of the alphabet or numbers each day, and relied on very short, animated cartoons with live and puppet segments which kept the interest of preschool chil .....

Some people would have you think that the play itself is racist, and provides a forum in which racism can grow and become only a bigger problem. I think that this is a flawed way of looking at it. I see the play as a confrontation of a modern day problem which society still faces. Rather than providing a forum for racism to grow, the play provides a forum for anti-racism discussion, if all proper steps are taken. When I say if all proper steps are taken, I am referring to having this play taught by a teacher, who can explain the plays meaning in it's fullest so that the students .....
