The Inauguration
<view this essay>.... the tide of a
greater conflict is turning against us, threatening to destroy all that we
have accomplished. It is time for us as nations and as individuals to set
aside our long-standing feuds and unite.
The tides of an unwinnable war are upon us and we must seek refuge upon
higher ground lest we be swept away by the flood. The confederacy is no
more. Whatever semblance of unity and protection it once provided is a
phantom - a memory. With our enemies left unchecked, whom will you turn to
for protection?
The devastation brought by the alien invaders is self-evident. We have seen
our homes and communities destroyed by the calculated blows of the Protoss.

What Family Is To Me
<view this essay>.... love means that no matter what happens
my family will still love me. They have shown this love for twenty years
now. And after all the things I have done wrong, or done badly, my family
still shows this unconditional love to me and to each other.
The second part in a family is respect and trust. Trust is
something that can take years to build, but can be broken very easily. By
breaking trust with a family member one is also breaking respect of the
family. The two ideas go hand in hand. My parents respected me enough to
tell me that I was adopted, instead of lying to me and having me find out
later in life that I wasn't their biological son. This re .....

Creative Writing: A Grim Conclusion

"Hello," came a voice. The old mans head shot up instantly, he glanced
around and saw that a young man with tangled blonde hair was standing
directly in front of him. The man looked as though he had just crawled out

of dried mud and grease. It looked as if he were in his early twenties.
"Sorry to wake you," the man said. "But may I sit beside you. I need a
rest, and this is the best seat in the park."
The old man hesitated slightly and forced a friendly smile, "Of course." He
paused as the man sat down, "Do you have a name, son?"
The man smiled, "My friends call me Stan .....

College Application Essay: Influence Of My Academic Interest In Education
<view this essay>.... with my mom and dad. My parents were still young and were totally oblivious to the fact that something was changing in my uncle’s personality. He started using illegal substances occasionally and then he was introduced to more harmful and more addictive drugs. He would read books about becoming a pharmacist and it was very obvious that his knowledge of drugs would either get him into trouble or make him successful. He was a full time student, but he was on the wrong road and his teachers had no idea. If only one teacher had taken the initiative to try to help my uncle with his interest in pharmaceuticals, maybe he could have used his knowledge in a posit .....

short temper, and following a line of cars that are going thirty-five miles an
hour in a fifty zone does not help. A sigh of relief passed through the car as
we came into Burlington. Justin dropped me off at my house in Burlington at
four o'clock, a few hours before his show started. I made my plans with them
for later and sent them on their way. Something about being home makes me feel
much more relaxed. Walking into your house and immediately recognizing that
perfect smell of freshness (my mom keeps a clean house), flopping yourself onto
your comfortable bed, now this is what makes me feel at peace.I was relieved to .....

<view this essay>.... be home for a
while, being as he was rushing to Cooper Hospital to see my mother. At this
point in time, being of such a young age, I started to block out a lot of what
she was telling us all. I only remember a little bit of that period of time
because of my memory block.
When my father had come home from the hospital, he told us all that our
mother had been envlolved in a serious car accident, and that she wouldn't be
home for a few weeks. I don't remember very much after that, except for the fact
that the period of time my mother was in the hospital fell on her birthday. So,
all of the family, except me, sat down next to the stereo. My father plugged .....
