Celebration Of My 21st Birthday
<view this essay>.... a party of seven, and what we had in common was that we were all East-Asians (i.e. Chinese, Japanese, and Korean), and that we all lived in/frequented our suite. The girls present were all my suitemates/close friends. The guys present were our boyfriends. The girls were naturally closer than the guys, since we live together, but, even though we are so close, we usually eat only with our boyfriends. Although this is true, it was still I comfortable, fun atmosphere where we could joke around. It was not necessary for my friends' boyfriends to show up to this party, but, it seemed that they were mere accompaniment to my friends.
On this night, we all chan .....

He had to walk home and there were water snakes in the gutters. One time when

Creative Writing: John Griffith Biography
<view this essay>.... day you will be rich." I loved to read and
often borrowed books of adventure, travel, and sea voyages.
At fourteen, I left school to lead a wandering and adventurous life, so I
thought. Jobs were hard to find but I was employed by the fish patrol in San
Francisco Bay. Imagine hopping on every boat that pulls into the bay and
counting the number of fish on board and having to write fines to the sailors
that had too many fish. This sure wasn't a popular job in the bay area. I was
smart enough to figure I could be on the other side of the law and rob and steal
vessels so I became an oyster pirate.
I had a real passion for the sea and so in 1893 I .....

My Battle
<view this essay>.... the people who work the hardest are the people that go the furthest. I understand that at times, I must push myself to reach new heights. For example, to raise my grade in a class, I might get help from my teacher at lunch, or I might just spend extra study time on that subject. Also, I could get better at basketball by staying after practice and working on my weaknesses. I will do anything to improve.
Self-discipline is another key in my goal to achieve. Self-discipline is a matter of how hard I am willing to work when no one else is watching or grading me. I must discipline myself to keep my focus and maintain a positive outlook that is sometimes di .....

A) Mother
His Mother was a quick-thinker, she was usually apart from her son for
an unknown reason (perhaps work), we can deduce this from the time when
there was a blackout in his childhood, and Montag and his mother had a rare
