Personal Writing: Museum Of Tolerance
<view this essay>.... at least it looked as if it was newer, and it was around many old
buildings. As we pulled into the parking garage I began to feel nervous of
what I might see.
We walked into the building and bought our tickets, we got the
student discount. Our tour time would be at 1:15. To waste a little time
we decided to walk around a little and look at the displays. There were
many Jewish items that I had never seen before but Coley pointed out most
of them and explained what they were and what they were used for. It
didn't take very long for our tour guide to show up and lead us to the main
tour. There was a short, maybe 15 minute tour with a tour guide, then a
two .....

Personal Writing: About Me
<view this essay>.... is very common in Portuguese households to have your grandparents living in the same house as you. My culture has taught me that my elders are to be treated with the utmost respect because they have suffered in the past and have helped in creating us. We are a very religious culture and that can be seen at the many festivals honouring various saints. When my family visited Portugal, my breath was taken away by the beautiful sights and simple life on the farm. Nobody had a rushing schedule and everything felt as peace. They lived day to day on the food they grew and the milk from their cows. In my eyes, this kind of life is very fulfilling. There was always some .....

College Essay: Which Of Your Possessions Reveals Most About You And Why?
<view this essay>.... Holmes and Watson were engrossed in their usual exercise of deduction, with no feelings of professional integrity to prevent them from viewing the contents of my backpack.
"What do you gather from this mundane article, Watson?"
Watson dutifully furrowed his brow and attempted to employ his ingenious friend's methods. "Aside from noting its battered appearance and its distorted shape, which, no doubt, results from transporting great weights, I can produce no inferences about its owner. You, I should imagine, feel like you have known her all your life?"
"He, Watson, he. I conclude that the possessor of this book bag is a young man of a scholarly natu .....

Personal Writing: College
<view this essay>.... I wanted to be an engineer. Well that was a choice
I made, and it was not exactly a choice I thought about adequately. As it turns
out engineering just wasn't what I was meant to do.
Some people would say that I made a bad decision, but I would rather
say that I made an unwise decision. Computer engineering (the major that I
choose first semester) was a lot more than I expected. I ended up failing
Physics, Calculus and Chemistry! In addition to that, I was subject to
separation from < > college. Well, now a decision really had to be made; it
was time for me to make a choice.
My parents told me to think about other colleges and to think about
other thing .....

<view this essay>.... "Grrrrrrr we

Both the figures were dressed with a bed sheet that had obviously been
painted black and thrown over their heads with just two tiny holes where
the eyes would be. The other figure then said "whats it gunna be lady,
trick or treat?" Jess opened the door fully now and beckoned them to come
inside. "Just wait here", she said as she ran up the stairs and into the
bathroom where Sal was still combing her hair.
"Sal what should I give those two boys", asked Jess. "I dunno give

My Friend T.W.
<view this essay>.... This time we played on a team. Precariously probing one anothers identity in order to ascertain whether or not we were of similar backgrounds. After that day T.W. and myself were what you could call best of friends.
Travis Walker Gerron is a light complected, red headed, freckle faced, god fearing, honest individual. When I say freckle faced, I don’t mean it literally. What I really mean is that if I had a dollar for every freckle on his body it would be palm trees and coconuts from here on out. Red headed is just a polite way of saying, are you sure your not Irish? Nevertheless, he has always been and still is one of the most intelligent people I have .....

Basketball Dreams
<view this essay>.... been able to stay in school and graduate. He not only loved the game, but he loved the opportunity that was given to him as a result of the game. He always said “basketball was like life and if someone lived there life like a basketball game and put there heart into everything, there will never be any regrets or failures.”
My grandfather taught me everything about the game of basketball. I remember him always sitting outside watching me play. Through rain or shine he would always be ready to correct any of my mistakes. His comments were always to work hard, and all the hard work would eventually pay off. He always drove me to watch the older kids play. .....
