Evolution Theory
<view this essay>.... plants or animals spread to new areas, or as the conditions change different variations would be favoured in different places. This would mean these variations would spread through the populations of the plants or animals. Over time this would finally lead to a development of new species. This theory was explained in the book ‘The Origin of Species’, which describes his studies on the Galapagos Islands in the Pacific Ocean. He noticed that the species on the islands varied slightly from each island and were adapted to local conditions. The reaction to this theory was immediate. Biologists argued that Darwin could not prove his hypothesis. Other crit .....

Global Warming 3
<view this essay>.... been the most damaging.
As the impacts of human influences have grown, so have the risks associated with those impacts. New technologies carry increasing risks, and the scale, frequency, and impacts of disaster caused or influenced by human activity are growing tremendously. The risks to the Earth¡¦s natural systems are becoming significantly concerning.
The world¡¦s population, currently 5.2 billion has grown from about 3 billion in 1960, and around 2 billion in 1925. Today it increased by almost 90 million each year, and is likely to reach 10 billion by 2025(Corson 4).
The reason we currently have an atmosphere crisis is because of human impact on the gas .....

<view this essay>.... and they worked as either
biology professors, novelists, business executives or industrial laborers. The
biographical interviews lasted one or two hours and ranged from six to ten
interviews for each subject. The questions asked focused on the subject's life

Cloning
<view this essay>.... human race needs to advance.
Humans would be stronger, smarter, and more perfect. Scientists could remove bad
genes from the parents and replace it with a good one. If one of the parents had
a bad gene or hereditary disease this could be removed from the embryo and
replaced with another "clean" gene. This process is called embryo screening it
is used to determine if the child has received the defective gene. Several
embryos could be cloned, then the DNA from one of the embryos would then be
removed and standard genetic testing would be used to detect whether or not that
embryo contained the genetic disease. If this cloned embryo containd a disease
then one of .....

Little Green Men Or Just Little Microscopic Organisms?
<view this essay>.... highly regarded chemistry professors from
Stanford, Claude Maechling and Richard Zare, dissected three meteorites that
were about 2 to 8 millimeters long and found trace elements of a big mumbo jumbo
word— polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons. That pretty much means that there once
was a warmer climate and maybe even lakes or oceans. Life on Mars is now a real
idea.
The climate of Mars about 3.8 billion years ago was much similar to the
young Earth. Microbes and bacteria probably sprouted everywhere in the warm and
wet climate. Although now we only see a cold red planet, which was probably due
to a collision of an astroid that would have set back the evolutio .....

Epidural In Labor
<view this essay>.... a sociologist who studies birth in America, writes that in the medical management of childbirth, the experience of the mother is viewed by physicians as pain: pain experienced and pain to be avoided.1 Having experienced childbirth ourselves, we have great compassion for women in painful labors. However, we also feel a responsibility to mothers and their babies to explore issues concerning the use of epidural anesthesia in labor issues that are seldom discussed prenatally.
Several factors make the use of epidurals potentially hazardous. The Physician’s Desk Reference cautions that local anesthetics – the type used in epidurals – rapidly cross .....
