Hawaiian Music
<view this essay>.... has been to tell the ancient, epic stories of their ancestors and gods. They told of how the ancestors came to Hawaii, how Hawaii was first created. It was primarily used as a form of worship and passing down history and genealogy and to keep the social hierarchy intact. It was often accompanied by music and occasionally by instruments made from gourds, coconut shells and logs covered with a sharkskin membrane. The main purpose of these is to provide a rattling or drumming sound.

Gregorian Chant
<view this essay>.... how it came about and what is was used for. If you don’t then when you listen to the chanting you will feel them same as the other listeners who know nothing about it.
The popular belief behind is what people have heard from the enigma CD. Most people that have no music history background and say “yeah, that CD with the cool beat and the monks singing in the background!” This is not true, simply because it is not signing it is chanting and that’s the big difference. Second, there shouldn’t be any music in the background as in the enigma CD.

Jazz And Classical Music
