Marriage: Easy Divorce
<view this essay>.... That could happen and I'm sure it's probably already
happened once or twice. In this case, it is not really anyone's fault. You
just go on with life just as you always had before.
I think that people shouldn't get married until they are totally
positive that their spouse is the person that they want to have a lifetime
commitment with. If they even think twice, then they are not ready for marriage.
I know that not everyone will feel the same way that I do on this subject, but
if everyone did, it could improve the divorce rate. I think that we should just
get the divorce over with as quickly as possible and get to living our lives
again.
I know some .....

injustice of equality 10/15/93 The point of this statement is not to say that
envy makes equality. When we wish for "personal equality" with people, we wish
to deny what we really are and allow for superficialness. We become so obsessed
with our possessions that we forget who we are and the beauty of our differences.
Aristole said that "it is unjust to treat unequal things equally". All people
are different, that is exactly what makes us human, so when we treat people
entirely the .....

College Fraternities
<view this essay>.... the definition and portrayal of the people fails to mention the
fact that membership in a fraternity is a life-long experience that helps its
members develop social, organizational, and study skills, and also teaches true,
everlasting friendship. As a matter of fact most of our presidents were

"The first fraternity was founded for literary and social purposes at
The College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia on December 5th 1776."
(Klepper 1937:24) Throughout the nineteenth century many new fraternities were

We are able to see them play fighting and when asked who they are trying to imitate, they often respond with the words " Power Rangers" .
Many television programs contain violence portrayed in ironic contexts. For example heroic "good-guy" characters commit aggression, consequences of violence are u .....

Walberg believes Japan's system of education is very successful. The
child worries about passing tough exams and wants to go to school. The
family of Japan coaxes its children and gives them the mind set of being
mediocre is nothing. Japan also maintains a hard curriculum that pushes
the student to his optimum efficiency. The teaches in Japan do not compare

Female Dominance Or Male Failure?
<view this essay>.... and is reflected throughout his essay. The
extremities males endure to obtain female attention become overwhelming and
incomprehensible to Thurber, consequently conflicting with the myth and
construction of the ideal of masculinity.
Thurber's frustrations with women are evident right from the start. He
displaces male insubordination to the blueprint of nature and it's “complicated
musical comedy.” (Rosengarten and Flick, 340) It's interesting that he
attributes nature as a female creator and thus justifying the relationship that “
none of the females of any species she created cared very much for the males.”

television had a explosive growth. Television was preserved as "radio with

Another television staple of this era was the western. In the late 1950's
