Basking Shark
<view this essay>.... long, which is the
estimated size of one at birth. There have been no significant differences found
to exist in the *age*-length relationships of C. maximus populations World-Wide.
Although all Basking sharks are large, the females tend to be quite a bit bigger
than the males, which is probably because they have to carry a whole other
organism within (Harman, 1996, 21).
Basking sharks have, at some point in time, also been known as the
elephant shark, the Bone shark, sailfish shark, and sunfish. The reason this
shark is occasionally referred to as the Bone shark, is because when they die,
they sink (their density is .....

Chemistry
<view this essay>.... of gas enveloping the Earth,
providing gases necessary for the support of plants and animals. I am the
colorless air that is breathed in constantly. I am the plunging rain tah pours
when the sun is shining, the white, damp snow that drifts in children's dreams,
and the darting hail that prevents little boys and girls to attend school. I am
the vivid part of life. I shield protection for those below me from the sun's
intense heat. I am fed and drunk by those who go through hunger. As acid
contained in the human body, I digest food and clean out wastes. I am a
desperate hope for a cure, yet poison, slowly spreading in the air and along the
land. I am .....

Haloes Forecast Storms

crystals, columns, capped columns and bullets.
The most obvious halo is found around the sun. If the layer of
cirrostratus is extensive, you'll see an entire ring. Within the layer of
cloud, sunlight is striking and passing through the sides of randomly-
oriented ice crystals. As the sunlight passes through each crystal, the
light changes direction, or refracts. The radius of the hale depends on
the amount of change in the direction of the sun's light. Usually this is
22 degrees. Since the sun is 1/2 of a degree across, the radius of the
halo is 44 sun-widths. Occasionally you .....

Nobelium
<view this essay>.... Nobel,
the Swedish inventor and philanthropist.
Nobelium can be found when produced artificially in a laboratory.
Discovery of the element was first claimed in 1957 by scientific groups in the
United States, Great Britain, and Sweden, but the first confirmed discovery of a
nobelium isotope was by a team of scientists at the Lawrence Radiation
Laboratory in Berkeley, California and that took place in 1958. The isotope was
created by bombarding curium isotopes with carbon ions.
Chemically, the properties of nobelium are unknown, but because it is an
actinide, its properties should resemble those of the rare earth elements.
Isotopes with mass numbers from 250 to .....
