Some people claim that they have been abducted by extraterrestrials. A
Harvard professor has taken these "abductees" and puts them in a hypnotic trans.
Under hypnosis, sometimes weeping and shouting with agony and terror, they

Their habitat includes forests with occasional open areas such as meadows. They occupy all of Canada starting from the tree line going south. They live in all provinces and territories except Prince Edward Island, where heavy de-forestation has happened and preferably away from brown bears (larger competitors). The only main risk for black bears are poachers who sell their parts illegally to the Asian medicinal market. In northern areas of Canada, the bear undergoes a remarkable me .....

Cloning
<view this essay>.... in all animals, human beings included, is the formation of identical
twins, triplets, and so on. Identical siblings constitute a clone. The
growth of a tumor in the body of an individual is, in effect, the formation
of a clone of malignant cells. Humans have learned from nature and started
their cloning saga also. In one method of artificial cloning used in plant
breeding, cells are cut from a plant and placed in a flask with a nutrient
medium. The cells grow and divide, forming embryonic tissues that are
transferred to soil, where they produce complete plants. Grafting is
another method of cloning used in Horticulture. Matching cuts are made in
the stem .....

The Big Bang And Steady State Models
<view this essay>.... from which the universe rapidly expanded.1 The Big Bang was
the start of time and space. The matter and radiation of that early stage
rapidly expanded and cooled. Several million years later, it condensed
into galaxies. The universe has continued to expand, and the galaxies have
continued moving away from each other ever since. Today the universe is
still expanding, as astronomers have observed.
The Steady State model says that the universe does not evolve or
change in time. There was no beginning in the past, nor will there be
change in the future. This model assumes the perfect cosmological
principle. This principle says that the universe is the .....

Invertebrate Vs Vertebrate
<view this essay>.... in groups of 25 (approximately) in the wild. Hermit crabs do not reproduce in captivity. Instead, they mate on land near the sea. After the eggs develop, the female carries the eggs on her abdomen to the sea where she leaves them on wet sand or a wet rock for the tide to carry them out to sea. There are usually 1,000 to 50,000 eggs at a time. They are small larvae at sea where they molt several times in order to grow to reach the characteristics of a typical adult hermit crab. After reaching the adult larvae stage, the hermit crabs begin looking for a shell to live in. Once they mature and find a suitable shell, they come to live on land for the rest of their .....

Radioactive Wastes
<view this essay>.... During this active period, while the atoms are 'decaying' to a stable
state their energies can be used according to the kind of energy they emit.
Since the mid 1900's radioactive wastes have been stored in different
manners, but since several years new ways of disposing and storing these wastes
have been developed so they may no longer be harmful. A very advantageous way of
storing radioactive wastes is by a process called 'vitrification'.
Vitrification is a semi-continuous process that enables the following
operations to be carried out with the same equipment: evaporation of the waste
solution mixed with the additives necesary for t .....
