Resurrection Of Jesus
<view this essay>.... and meanings of resurrection. The four sources are The Reality of Jesus by D.Lane, The Eucharist, the Resurrection, and the Future by J. McKenna, What Are They Saying about Resurrection? by G.Collins, and Hope for the Flowers by T.Paulus.
Although we can not fully understand the resurrection until it is our time, we cannot help but wonder. The mystery of resurrection can be traced to the historical life of Jesus. Through Jesus came strong faith from the Jewish people, this came to be from his good teachings and preaching. That is why today many approach the term resurrection in conjunction with Jesus.
In the book, The reality of Jesus we come across .....

Taoism
<view this essay>.... is immensely complex, vast, and interesting. It understands what being a human really is. It lets a person live for the right reasons and have a full understanding of his place on the earth.
I have found that there is not one set definition for . The word is over two thousand years old. All of the Chinese philosophies used the word but the context in which the word is used varies. Tao originally meant “the way”, to a Taoist Tao is regarded as a substance or non-substance. One context in which a Taoist knows the word Tao is in the sense of a method and a course of conduct.
Taoist writings are wise and mystical. They are written in a poetic form .....

Comprehensive Arguements For The Existence Of God
<view this essay>.... church and our society. This paper examines the many rational arguments for and against the existence of God. It is based on the views of some of the great philosophers and scientists of our world. I will show that there is no sufficient proof or comprehensive arguments for the existence of God.
ONTOLOGICAL ARGUMENTS
God generally refers to one supreme, holy, personal being,. The divine unity of ultimate good-ness and of ultimate reality. St. Anselm of Canterbury developed what we have learned to be the ontological argument. He began his argument by saying that even a fool can grasp or understand the concept of “a being than of which nothing greater can be .....

Mark's Theology Reflected In Writing
<view this essay>.... story for people, rather
than a book of facts. The best example would be in Mark 10:17-31 (Jesus Counsel
to the Rich) & (Parable of The Camel and the Eye of a Needle). It is
doubtful that these things happened at the same time; however, they are GREY in
The Five Gospels anyway ... and probably didn't happen as Mark describes. This
brings us to Mark's writing style.
Mark seems to tack-on sentences to Jesus' teachings to make themmore
"Christian." This really changes the meaning more than any other
tactic! Who knows what Mark may have edited-out to accomplish what he wanted to
impress upon his readers? In this, he tries to interp .....

Prevent Coercive Prayer In Public Schools
<view this essay>.... or discriminate against any
religion. Due to this interpretation, the practice of coercive prayer is
unconstitutional, and should be kept forever separated from this nation's
schools.
The purpose of public schools is to educate, not indoctrinate.
Schoolchildren are a captive audience. How could a second-, fourth-, or even
sixth-grader view the routine recital of prayers during the school day as a
voluntary action? This invasive practice would create unnecessary divisions
among children by making them unduly aware of their religious differences.
Public schools are for everyone, whether they are Buddhist, Catholic, Muslim, or
Taoist. The practice of orga .....

Your Journey Toward Christ
<view this essay>.... either side of you are inhabited by beings who are committed to keeping you from reaching your goal. They have no power or authority to block your path or even slow your step, so they hang out of the windows and call to you, hoping to turn your attention away from your goal and disrupt your progress by tempting you, accusing you and deceiving you.
What is the enemy's goal in having his demons jeer you, taunt you, lure you, and question you from the windows and doorways along your path? He wants you to slow down, stop, sit down, and, if possible, give up . He wants to influence you to doubt your ability to believe and serve God. Remember: he has absolutely no p .....

Religion In School?
<view this essay>.... are
not criticized.
Religion is not forced upon people in an overwhelming manner. If a
Christian decides to wear Christian apparel or accessories, they should not
be treated any different. They have just as much a right to pray before
school, or at lunch to show their individuality, as those around them might
through clothing, attitude, and word of mouth.
As long as they follow the school codes as expected, they should
be treated just as their non-Christian equal. No place in the constitution
does it say Christians should be treated different. In fact the first
amendment (passed September 25, 1789 and ratified December 15, 1791)

Jesus: The First Anarchist
<view this essay>.... say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a
needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God," said Jesus to his
disciples in one of many stories in which he shunned wealth and society's view
of 'success'. We see in the story of the poor widow's contribution Jesus'
message of devaluing money, and placing the true importance on the spirit in
which it is given. We see Jesus sit down and observe how the people give money
to the treasury, and his commentary on the donations shocks his disciples.
"Amen, I say to you, this poor widow put in more than all the other
contributors to the treasury. For they have contributed from thei .....
