<view this essay>.... so the natural thing to do would be to become part of the in group. No one wants to be an outsider..or part of the out group, so they become affiliated with the in crowd. Then they feel a sense of belonging and security. It all comes down to peer pressure and being regarded as one of us. Another reason that comes to mind is using the group in general as a scapegoat. A person builds so much frustration and anger at something, and instead of going to the gym to vent their anger, they join a gang and let the idea of prejudice guide their anger to let out their emotions.
Sonoma County does not have the extent of gangs that Antelope Valley has, thankfully. .....

In the traditional or Spartan sense, patriots are those who love their country simply because it is their countryñbecause it is "their birthplace and the mansion of their fathers," as Alexis de Tocqueville put it in his Democracy in America. It is a kind of filial piety. But no one, not even a Spartan, is born loving his country; such love is not natural, but has to be taught, or inculcated, or somehow acquired" (Berns, 1997, pp. PG). People expect their doctor to relieve them of pain when they are sick. Infact, humans even feel that their animals should be put to death if they are suffering. This is clearly stated by Janelle Rohr when she said, “A d .....

isn't about physical attraction, it's about power. In fact, many
sexual harassment incidents take place when one person is in a
