More Than Magic - The Sword In
<view this essay>.... the reader in a powerful trance. Young Arthur went through a dramatic change in his life after coming upon Merlin, his future mentor and closest
companion. He began to transform into a mature and respectable man; a work involved with more than magic; a work created through a strong basis of trust and love.
“The love business is a powerful thing. I must say it is probably the greatest force on Earth.” (p110) Merlin said this line with such assurance and confidence that young Arthur, formerly known as the Wart, only longed to believe that this statement was true. warrior. Hrothgar rewards Beowulf with priceless material as he says to the

Tragic Triumph
<view this essay>.... the actual process
of making this decision is not as easy. Proctor vacillates between dishonesty and the upholding
of society’s and his own morals. In Act IV, anxiety permeates the air as Proctor puts his name
on the confession; but somewhere between the quill and the quintessence of the tragedy, Proctor
has a change of heart. I believe that the precise point at which he realizes the exigency of the
situation is when he emits the soul-wrenching cry, “You will not use me!” (142). And so, with
these words, the first provision of a tragedy is furnished.
Miller spares us the full repercussions of Proctor’s decision by ending t .....

Immediately the book draws into her past, relating events leading up to this point, explaining her motives. One gets a definite feel for her character, and settles into her narrative, but as soon as this happens, the .....

Hamlet 19

His actions throughout the play support this duplicitous nature. His dual persona is the foundation of Hamlet’s madness, and ultimately the play itself. There are many examples that illustrate how Hamlet’s fraudulent nature results in a tragedy because of his inability and reluctance to choose which role to play.
One such example occurs near the beginning of the tome. In Act One, Hamlet appears to be very straightforward in his actions, inner state, and role. When his mother questions him, Hamlet says, " .....
