Just as in the case of and the monster, a mistake was made and the inventor had to acknowledge that, and correct what he had done. The only problem was that he didn't. Victor used science to help him build a "monster", but when his experiment failed, he wouldn't take responsibility for his creation. Science is about understanding nature. It incorporates all things around us and attempts to look at every hair, muscle and movement of an object to find out everything about it. Science is also about adding on to what already exists; this was a problem. When Dr. decided to introduce a ne .....

Then, as the funeral people begin to come in, Horatio and I move away, somewhat hidden and listen to the chitchat. The people are complaining of the unluxurious burial. A Separate Peace 6
<view this essay>.... then finally physically.
Knowles creates Gene as one who always is strictly trying to comply with the rules and regulations, always obeying his superiors; completely different then that of Finny’s personality. “Over your head? Pink! It makes you look like a fairy!” (909). Considering such, he envies Finny, because Finny can ‘get away with murder’ if he wanted to, and can stay out of trouble doing so. “Phineas could get away with anything. I couldn’t help envying him…a little” (909). Knowles shows how much jealousy Gene had over Finny’ s ability to stay out of trouble, no matter what he .....
