The opening shot of the film presents us with a fairly decent visual representation of what Sophocles seemed to have in mind for the beginning of the play. The outer steps of the castle are crowded with what seem to be peasants who are obviously in different states of peril. The satire that Twain uses to expose the hypocrisy, racism, greed and injustice of society develops along with the adventures that Huck and Jim have. The ugly reflection of society we see should make us question the world we live in, and only the journey down the river provides us with that chance. What Malcom means by this is that without even visiting the park he can say that it will fail. Dr. Malcom is a problem in the story because convinces other people that is a bad idea. Dennis Nedry is the computer expert at . He deals with all the problems in the parks computer system. Nedry works in the control room with Arnold. Arnold didn’t care much for Nedry when he said "That idiot Nedry turned off the security systems"(Crichton 177). Arnold said this after D .....

She's Mary from now on."(pp.91) One of the most important aspects of a person is their name. It is a great insult for someone to change your name, without your consent, just because someone wanted too. If Maya was white Mrs. Cullinan would not have changed her name. She did it only because of her racist friends, and attitudes. Even some of the white s, who supposedly supported her, had hidden their racist feelings in seemingly nice remarks. The play also depicts the troubled parts in his life and eventually his death that is instantaneous caused by the suffering and calamity. There is the feeling of fear in the play as well, that makes men see how blind they are not knowing when fortune or something else would be on them. The hero must be of a high status on the chain and the hero also possesses a tragic flaw that initiates the tragedy. Another example I showed through the book was in the stupidity of many people in the south who treated blacks as dogs. They sold, bought, lynched, and murdered many thousands of African American people. Not even thinking that .....

.... for Dimmesdale is still strong. Through Hester, Hawthorne is trying to communicate to the reader that it difficult for Hester to repent the sin of adultery. In the first scaffold scene, the author writes “Could it be true? She clutched the child so fiercely to her breast, that it sent forth a cry; she turned her eyes downward at the scarlet letter, and even touched it with her finger, to assure herself that the infant and shame were real. Yes!-these were her realities-all else had vanished” (page 41) From this quote the reader learns that Hester is just beginning to deal with the shame of her sin.
