They just stood there accepting that their family was breaking up. I thought that Roger Pfingston wrote this story from his heart. Huck’s days were filled with games of pretend that were supposed to be actual adventures. However, many of the adventures were figments of Tom Sawyer’s imagination. This is important to know since Tom’s description of an adventure is something that is not real and everything Tom reads contributes to the adventures him and Huck have. Mr. Shelby decides he doesn’t want his daughter growing up as a spoiled uncaring princess. Mustapha, other important character, is an Arab boy who Lesley watches abuse his donkey across the Jordan River. All the Jews are not supposed to hate Arabs, but Lesley however comes in contact with Mustapha by the river and talks to him as a person not as an enemy. Mustapha made Lesley a more understanding person towards different kinds of people. The character I would most admire is Lesley for her ability .....
