<view this essay>.... as if it were a perfect offshore
fishing day. The sky was clear as glass, with a couple straggling cirrus
clouds, but nothing worth paying attention to, and above that, the fish were
supposedly hitting offshore. All-in-all, the long awaited perfect fishing day
had come, at least in our minds it had.
In the meantime, my dad backed the boat into the salty murky water as I
got the boat ready for our day long journey. I set the navigation system to a
favorite fishing spot of ours which was about twenty-five miles out called the
Pelican Flats. We headed out on the gently, quiet, rolling blue monster's back

like a Gray hound chasing the rabbit at a race track.
One time my mom took Skippy along to Golden on one of her visits to her
chiropractor. He ran his business out of his house that sat on a fairly large
piece of land. My mom felt it would be OK to let Skippy run around the
chiropractors land while she took her appointment. Later that evening my mom
came to pick me up at my friend's house. When I got in the truck she told me

I often witnessed people dying from leprosy and seeing the disease spread; after seeing diseases caused by viruses carried by Black flies, I decided that I could do something to help people overcome some of these kinds of hardships. Creative Story: The Lake
<view this essay>.... caught in the middle of our
escapade. Upon this, my brother and I snuck to their backyard like two
undercover police officers, until we were in the clear. Nerve-wracking minutes
later, flowed the emerald green and ever-so lively lake in front of us. We
stopped and starred in awe. The lake had appeared so shiny and reflective, it
resembled a finely-cut diamond. The rare and distinct fragrance enticed us. It
smelled like mother-nature herself, with aromas ranging from wildlife and wet
grass, to evaporated swamp water and healthy dirt.
