Creative Writing: Hackers Manifesto
<view this essay>.... fifteenth time how to reduce a fraction. I
understand it. "No, Ms. Smith, I didn't show my work. I did it in my head..."
Damn kid. Probably copied it. They're all alike. I made a discovery today. I
found a computer. Wait a second, this is cool. It does what I want it to. If it
makes a mistake, it's because I screwed it up. Not because it doesn't like me...
Or feels threatened by me... Or thinks I'm a smart ass... Or doesn't like
teaching and shouldn't be here... Damn kid. All he does is play games. They're
all alike. And then it happened... a door opened to a world... rushing through
the phone line like heroin through an addict's veins, an electronic pulse is .....

Spy Games - Creative Essay
<view this essay>.... was good practice for all of us. It also meant
lying to a lot of people as to why we were always busy on Saturdays. Mind
you, we never considered it lying. We preferred to refer to it as clouding
the truth. Many of us wanted to become employed in the intelligence area.
So really, we though of it more as an act of deception.
We took our game very seriously. In fact we never even referred to is
as a game. Mostly because we were working our maneuvers on real people who
didn't know we were just a group of teenagers pretending to be spies. Every
week we'd have at least one meeting at my house to talk about how things
were going. Sometimes depending on the c .....

Secret Addiction
<view this essay>.... immediately throw my
backpack on the floor, quickly open the refrigerator and grab whatever food item
was in sight, and would then proceed to dart up the stairs to the computer chair.
Upon start-up of the computer, a warm and pleasant feeling would vibrate
through my entire body, straight down my spine. It almost felt as if I was in
some sort of heaven. Every keystroke of the keyboard sent a refreshing burst of
pleasure in each of my finger tips. The glowing monitor emitted delightful rays
that pleased and calmed my eyes. Oh yes, it was great to be home.
Of course, this does not even compare to the long and never-ending hours
I would spend on this mach .....

Nightmare On Elm Street - The Dead Of Night
<view this essay>.... and fur
began to fall off, as it grew in size. When she looked back, it was no
longer a cat, but a grotesque man wearing a striped red and green shirt.
"Time for the cat to eat little Robin!" He snickered, and grinned an evil
grin.
She started to run, but the madman was quick to chase her. She
suddenly heard in the distance what sounded like a firebell ringing. She
closed her eyes, to scared to look. All sound subsided, except for the
bell. She dared a peek through her eyes, to see her bedroom. She was safe,
at least for now.
Her mother opened the door, slowly. She smiled and said, "So,
you're awake, sleepyhead. Listen, Julie is .....

Ballet Analysis: Self Evaluation
<view this essay>.... plenty of goals to tackle this year at school.
The first exercises are the tendus facing the barre. I love pre-barre because it allows you to warm up your feet, ankles, and hips before diving into plies. This particular pre-barre is exceptionally helpful. When you tendu, flatten, and drag your foot back to first, I can really feel my hips and rotators working. I also really worked on using the floor during the tendus - I know I could be using the floor much more in every exercise. On the releves, I focused on tightening my abdominals and lengthening my lower back. Its amazing how much that centers your balance! I also noticed that at the beginning of t .....

Personal Writing: Welcome To Maysville
<view this essay>.... park with
an accessible boat ramp for the river, campgrounds, shelters with grills, a
boat shop, and a playground. We have many apartments available for the
elderly or for just a family new to the area.
Shopping in Maysville is not a problem due to the various shopping
centers and the downtown shops with park and go accessibility. With the
shops downtown you can park and the walk where ever you choose with much
convinces. I enjoy shopping in Maysville since we have a variety of stores
to choose from. We have a country club that is full of fun activities to
do including golf. The YMCA is a great place to work out at. With a pool,
running track, weight .....

Skiing - Creative Essay
<view this essay>.... Its cold bite found my
nose. Its quick and sudden swirling movement kicked loose snow into my
face, forcing me to zip my jacket over my chin. It's strange how the gray
clouds, which seemed so far above me at the bottom, really didn't appear
that high anymore. If I had a tall enough ladder, I mig ht be able to
touch them. As I gazed out over the landscape, the city below seemed
unrecognizable. The enormous buildings which I had driven past earlier
looked like dollhouses a child might play with. The towering smokestacks
of the factories wou ld not have caught my eye had it not been for the tiny
stream of gray emerging from them. At this distance, the .....

Our Father-Son Relationship
<view this essay>.... got red in the face. He was demanding that I do not leave the house until the remote was found. I always knew he loved me, but his anger always got in the way. I tried my best never to make him upset by staying out of his way. I felt that I was the young boy in the story, “Arm Wrestling with My Father” because the only time we were somewhat close was during physical actions. A fine example is that he would never miss one of my football games but would not interact in any other activities with me.
Our relationship now is a lot better than ever after getting some major counseling. After a counseling session, my father came up to me with tears .....
