The Last Unicorn: The Character And Nature Of Molly Grue

dead grass." (Beagle 56) She also has "sharp shoulders" (Beagle 57) and
"horny knuckles." (Beagle 57) From these descriptions the picture we get
is that of an old woman, who is unsophisticated, and has worked herself to
the bones. You would probably think that Molly isn't a nice person. Molly
is a nice person, because underneath all that skin is a woman who has
compassion. Molly cooks and cares for a band of loud, crude, adventurous

“Do You Believe In Fate Neo,”
<view this essay>.... fed up with his life being controlled by fate. The author does an exceptional job in creating a theme that illustrates how racism takes away the self-control of the oppressed, thus leaving their lives in the hands of fate. The theme that racism doesn’t allow the oppressed to control their lives can be demonstrated through the symbolism of the rat, the poster outside of Bigger’s apartment, and Bigger’s encounter with the “nut” in jail.
To Bigger’s chagrin he is not in control of his life. His life is dictated by a large group of white people’s false belief of superiority. With every cause there is an effect, and the effect that this burden has on Bigger turn .....

Huck Finn
<view this essay>.... the Far West. The story was set, in my opinion, in the perfect place and time. It really helped the story come together. In some cases the setting could have been brought out a little more to help out with the descriptions and plots of the story, but in the long run, the setting was pretty much described enough. The characters in were very believable. The way they acted and the way they thought made them seem almost real. To me, Huck stands out the most. He acts like a young boy who is trying to help out people in need of help like Jim. He was friendly, kind, and willing to stand up for what he believed in, good or bad. With the many characters in this book, .....

The police, coroner and Chatters then went to the river where they recovered more bones. Along with the bones, some late nineteenth century artifacts were recovered. The Archaeological Resources Protection Act required Chatters to obtain a permit to excavate on federal land, so before he could go back to excavate he had to get a permit from the Army Core of Engineers (Lee). After receiving his permit he returned to the site several times and recovered a near complete skeleton. At first the nineteenth century artifacts led him to believe .....

law. The Knights of the about them. Whereas, the cowboys had a set of unwritten
laws, which they changed whenever there was something that they wanted to pursue.
Most of them felt that the law was wrong and too slow, so they often decided to
take law into their own hands and form posses. If the majority of the people

without a fair trial. Their view of the law was that it "just gets in the way"

To Kill A Mockingbird: Scout
<view this essay>.... on the street, Atticus kills the dog with one shot. "Jem became vaguely articulate, ‘you see him, Scout? You see him just stand there? That is when they realize that their father is a humble man who doesn’t like to show off his talent.
