.... a hero will make him the person he wants to be. In reality he doesn’t know what he wants, or if he truly wants to be a hero. He runs from a battle confused, he believes that he was better off than the other soldiers who might die were. In the end the character in the book believed that it was better not to run and to make up for his running he fought as hard as he could. The youth believed in what he fought for and even risked his life to hold the flag in the heat of a battle. The other characters also believed in what the fought for in the end of the book and for example the loud soldier who (believed that he wasn’t afraid ended up changing and becoming .....

.... It is these similarities and differences which often cause conflicts between mother and daughter. In A Jest of God, the relationship between Rachel and her mother is strained due to unspoken expectations that each had of the other. Stemming from poor communication, a host of differences were assumed to exist between the two, when in fact their struggle originated in their sameness. The largest weapon which spear-headed the communication war between Rachel and her mother was the generation gap; coming from different eras, the pair assumed they had nothing in common. But anyway, I had mad Lennie angry and he started to cry. Then I felt sorry for him and told him I would get him a dog so he wouldn't have to carry around that mouse. Then he gave me that "guilt trip" and started saying that he could go live and the woods and he would be fine without me. Yes, Lennie was a very smart person. As I look back to those events leading up to Lennie's death I kind of think that it's my fault that he's dead. Not just because I'm the one that killed him but because I should have watched him mor .....

This information enables Sydney Carton to force John Barsad, Cly's partner, into a plot to save Charles Darnay's life. Another important, but easily overlooked example of resurrection is when Dr. Manette grows confidence in himself and becomes the leader of the group. Dr. Manette triumphs over his past life and has a sort of rebirth. The best example of resurrection in the entire book, is also partly ironic in that Sydney Carton must die for this resurrection to take place, when he is executed on the .....

.... that would do negative things. Molly was a girl who was addicted to opium. She was secretly married to Godfrey. Godfrey would give her money and instead of using it on their child she would use that money to buy more drugs. Molly died as a result of her addiction to drugs. Dunston was another character in this book that was not a class citizen. Dunstun committed the second robbery. He was also the person that got wildfire killed. On page 67 Godfrey said of Dunston " He'll never be hurt, he was made to hurt other people. The robbery occurred because of the death of the horse. Godfrey was a man that did not ever want to acknowledge that he was married. .....
