“Minds Eye At Work”
<view this essay>.... felt as if she was not worthy of it. The ending was meant to show how overwhelming and frightening love could be. For myself, it was not till the end of the story that I truly understood the character of Mable Pervin. This story without an explicit resolution leaves the reader feeling the frightfulness of Mabel and the actual contentment of Dr. Fergusson.

“The Hand”
