.... And while standing on the side lines watching Hitler's war, and that made him want a piece of the action. So on June 10, 1940 Italy declared war on France. As the war was progressing it has been shown how Mussolini was trying more and more to reform Italy as a Fascist government. But as we all know as German defenses in Italy collapsed, Mussolini's army crumbled to little Italian pieces. He tried to avoid death by crossing the frontier as a German soldier, but they recognized him, he was shot and killed. Hi ....
