William Heyen's poem "Matrix" (184-185) is a beautiful display of how he feels for his wife. You can tell from this poem that he is sensitive to her feelings of being sick and that he would do any thing to make her feel more comfortable. He shows this is his feelings by writing about his memory when he saw a mutilated turt ....
