In the year 1958 the hunt for gold was strong and people didn't realize how hard it was to pan for gold. The first sign of gold was in the Ralson Creek area with around one hundred men panning for gold. Many of these miners only made twenty-five cents a day. Most of these people didn't strike it rich so they went back h ....
Part 2 of Essay .... didn't even make it to Colorado. A lot of the other people either turned back or died on the way. Most of the people who did make it returned home without the riches that they came for. The people that returned home were called "Go Backs". The other men stayed behind and continued panning or opened up shops in nearby towns.
