Unoka was a peace loving man, who hated the sight of blood. Unoka never stood for any unnecessary killing, and was reputed for being "weak with his machete" (18). He would rather wield away his time playing on the flute than watch a battle or wrestling match. Because of this, Okonkwo loved to fight ....
