.... most recent of NASA’s plan, is this... They’ll use 3 different space ships: A habitat lander, a cargo lander, and a crew transport vehicle. The CTV carries them to the habitat lander. They land on Mars, and do their business. When they’re done, the habitat lander takes them back up to orbit where they meet back up with their CTV, waiting patiently in orbit, that takes them back home.
