How Guns Work
<view this essay>.... a little more sophisticated.
However, the physics behind all guns remain the same. Weapons such as cannons,
shotguns and rifles, work on the basic idea of conservation of momentum and the
change in energy from potential to kinetic.
When the trigger is pulled the hammer hits the firing pin. The firing pin then
hits the primer which causes the powder to burn hence producing lots of gases.
This causes the volume behind the bullet to fill with extremely high pressure
gas. The gas pushes on every surface it encounters, including the bullet in
front of it and the base of the gun barrel behind it. The increase in pressure
caused by the gases causes the bullet t .....

Hate On The Net
<view this essay>.... Contrary to what the title implies this essay has nothing to do with making love. In fact, the entire posting is a recipe for the torture, and eventual killing, of a homosexual, repeatedly referred to as a “faggot” in the essay. Another such posting came from an elderly man who was angered by all the minorities and foreigners moving into his neighborhood and pleaded to any white supremacy group to come and exterminate them.
Should these people have the right to say these things? Concerns such as these have led many to demand that hate material be removed from the net. Some Internet Service Providers are already starting to block access to sites they see a .....

Solving Problem Creatively Over The Net
<view this essay>.... Within 2 hours I managed to made myself a homepage.I also know
to make an impressive homepage, one must have a high counter number so that
people will revisit the homepage again. I can't use any "sensual" word to
attract people cause it's against Geocities's rule. So I did a very nasty thing.
I cheated, I put an extra counter number in my homepage beside my origi nal
counter number so each time when it reload it will look like this---->0101.While
the only people who visited my homepage was myself, but instead the counter
number show 101.

Airbags - Pop Em' Or Keep Em'

scream. His mother is fine. The seatbelt along with the airbag saved her
from any serious harm. She is still dazed as she looks over to her two
year old, expecting more screaming. Nothing. Nothing happens. She shakes
her little girl and realizes that something is drastically wrong. Mica is
dead.
At last count, this scenario has happened 31 times. How many more
times does it have to happen before the automotive industry does something
about it? Children are not the only victims, though. Small women and the
elderly have also been killed as a result of airbags. The time has come to
ask ourselves, "Do airbags really work?"
First off, most people fe .....

Electronic Monitoring Vs. Health Concerns
<view this essay>.... (Paranoid 435). A poll by
MacWorld states that over twenty-one percent of all employees are monitored at
work, and the larger the company, the higher the percentage (Privacy 445).
Unaware of this electronic monitoring, most employees often are not working at
their peak performance due to this type of scrutiny.
The majority of Americans believe that electronic monitoring should not
be allowed. Supreme Court Justice Louis D. Brandeis states that of all of the
freedoms that Americans enjoy, privacy "is the right most valued by civilized
men (Privacy 441)." A poll taken by Yankelovich Clancy Shulman for Time, states
that ninety-five percent of Americans believ .....

History Of Computers
<view this essay>.... idea or
plan designed to help perform functions easier and quicker. The first basic type
of computers were designed to do just that; compute!. They performed basic math
functions such as multiplication and division and displayed the results in a
variety of methods. Some computers displayed results in a binary representation
of electronic lamps. Binary denotes using only ones and zeros thus, lit lamps
represented ones and unlit lamps represented zeros. The irony of this is that
people needed to perform another mathematical function to translate binary to
decimal to make it readable to the user.
One of the first computers was called ENIAC. It was a huge, mon .....
