Noah's Ark And The Great Flood
<view this essay>.... about 85' wide, and about 50' high. That's less than half the size of the RMS Titanic.
Many species of land animal require highly specialized habitat and food to survive. Koala bears, for instance, only eat leaves of the Eucalyptus tree. Also, no matter what time of year it is, many creatures would be hibernating (it's always winter somewhere on the globe). Many creatures are only found on one continent, indeed some are limited to a small island, forest, and/or mountain.
How could the ark cope with all the specialized requirements of food and environments for millions of creatures? 320 different species of hummingbird alone, for example, have very high metabo .....

End Of The World As Told In The New Testament
<view this essay>.... it says that "...all these things will not happen until this
generation passes away...". I feel that this passage had to have been
talking about the people of that time. That is one base on which I hold
this belief, because that, possibly, some of the "end of times events" have
happened, but NOT ALL. If they would have all occurred at that time I
would probably hold a different view. I really don't ever recall reading
in the Bible about any natural disasters, other than the Flood. That is
one point that really sticks out to me that really makes me believe this
view, especially in the increase lately in all of the natural disasters
happening.
When Jesu .....

Hindu is only a corrupt form of Sindhu given to the Aryans by the Greeks. A way of life that is all things to Hindus, the religion encompasses a vast, uncoordinated complex of sects, doctrines, beliefs and practices set in a social framework. It has the unique distinction of having no single founder, no centralized organized hierarchy and no fixed dogmas. It represents instead countless sages and the truths revealed to them over thousands of years in the Vedas. The sanctity of the four Vedas—Rig Veda, Sama Veda, Yajur V .....

is the largest religion today. This religion has been seeing a lot of people leaving this religion and joining other churches. But even though many people are changing to other religions, there are also many people leaving their churches and converting to Roman Catholicism. It has been growing rapidly in the last few years. “Today we are seeing more than a hundred and fifty thousand converts enter each year in the United States” (Catholic Answers). From what I can see the Ro .....

Even the most primitive people, the earliest hominids, held notions of a place where they went after their death, as well as performing rituals before going on hunts - presumably in order to receive blessing and aid from somewhere or someone . They have also been known to bury their dead in the fetal position, reproducing the way in which they came into the world in order to accelerate the journey into the next world .
The views of the ancient civilizations of the Egyptians, Greeks and Romans have been well-documented. All three of these ancient societies believed in numerous Gods, .....

Liberty In The Gospel: Galations 5:1-12

sufficient for salvation. Nothing more and nothing less. Centuries later,
after the church had again embraced the a young priest named Martin Luther
called the book the Magna Carta of Christian Liberty. It helped bring back
in a reclamation of the faith. Where salvation is based on peoples faith.
Not on peoples efforts. But still every generation is marked by a tendency
to classify worshippers by the way the act during worship. Or the way they
pray out loud. Or the way the speak in church. Some are considered first
class, others second class. In nearly every case, the segregation of the
church results from add-ons to the simple, pure gospel .....

Trito-Isaiah
<view this essay>.... rebuilding it had been taken, but a lot of work still remained (Isaiah 66:1). In the city, the streets and walls were still in ruins (Isaiah 58-60). No significant restoration appears to have been done in the outlying villages (Isaiah 61:4). Here the Prophet directed his preaching to the Jews raised in the Exile and now united with the descendants of those who had remained in Palestine. (Life and Literature of the Early Period 3)
