Assisted Suicide
<view this essay>.... should not be denied their wishes when they wanted to end their pain. However, I was open to learning more about the opposite stance and what the reasons for opposition were.

I wondered how this could be, and how people could deny people this right in unending pain. There never seems to be a prosecution of doctors who participate in these acts, even though they frequently go to court. I wondered why this occured and what the laws really said regarding this. I also wondered how people distinguished between forgoing medical .....

<view this essay>.... most important American legal acts.
The Bill of Rights warrants basic individual liberties which are an undeniable standard of the proper protection of human and civil rights even now. But some sceptics maintain that this act did not enshrine the liberties of the Americans because some groups were outside the system of protection. However, we must keep in mind that the amendments were ratified over 200 years ago and they simply did not intend to protect all the inhabitants of the new-born United States.
Similar regulations were commonly met in other countries' legal acts of the time. For example, in the Polish Constitution ratified in 1791 only the nobility .....

Euthanasia In The United State
<view this essay>.... who yearn to make this decision are neither in a healthy psychological state of mind nor have the God-willing right to do so. These groups feel if euthanasia were to become a publicly accepted option to the terminally ill that physicians, family, and even patients may abuse it. They also strongly support modern end-of-life treatment, known as palliative care, as a more logical and moral option. Perhaps the strongest belief that euthanasia is wrong comes from those who follow the words of the Bible and believe that every aspect of life belongs to God. The Old Testament records an incident involving King Saul of Israel, who became seriously wounded on the .....

The Potential For A U.N. Peace
<view this essay>.... mandates which would essentially halt the bombing efforts. Still, a conclusion seems to be near. If in fact a treaty can be implemented, a peacekeeping force is inevitable. Yet, the force, or at least the use of the term "force" could be met with opposition.
Another important issue which crops up is the composition of the force. It is generally agreed that the United Nations would play a major role in peacekeeping. Yet, there are a variety of political components at play, and there has been tensions due to NATO's military mission, as well as Russia and China's ambivalent role in all of this.
