Canada's Copyright Law
<view this essay>.... this has become very easy. You simply take an original
or even another copy of a tape, as well as a blank tape. Stick them both in to
the stereo and bingo you have a new tape. You also just broke the law.
Along with copying audio tapes, now we can copy video tapes almost as
easily. If you hook two VCR's together, they can copy from one to the other.
You could rent a movie form the video store, copy and return it, with no one the
wiser.
The problem with copying video and audio tapes is that for every copy
you make the recording artist, the actors, producers and everyone else who
collect royalties from the tapes lose money. If the com .....

The Writing Of The Federalist Papers

By separating the powers of the government, it prevents one particular group in becoming too powerful. Articles I through III of The
Constitution, place each of the basic powers of government in a separate branch. The legislative power vested in Congress, the executive power in the president, and the judicial power in the Supreme Court and other federal courts. The legislative branch creates laws, the executive branch enforces the laws, and .....

Bilingual Education
<view this essay>.... also been involved with the Chinese and Mung cultures. has failed however, currently the movement is towards and English only educational system. The simple fact of the matter is that people who speak a language in this country will never get ahead. We’ve tested the ignorant notion that you could get by without speaking English; or speaking English very minimally, but that’s promoting and even more ignorant idea which is that you don’t need speak English fluently to succeed in America. In 1968 we didn’t know that wouldn’t work, however, it’s time to move on and do the right thing and switch to English Only.
Lyndon Johnson was president, we had the futile .....

The Influence, And Views Of Netanyahu On The Middle East Peace Plan
<view this essay>.... how he has affected the peace plan. I will
tell about his views on what is going on.
Benjamin Netanyahu lived in the United States for a few years. Netanyahu
was a graduate of M.I.T. in 1975. Then he claimed duel citizenship with the
United States and Israel. Netanyahu did so because his mother was born in the
United States. He was a well-paid analyst with the Boston Consulting group. He
left working there and went back to Israel in 1978. When he went back to Israel,
he was there for about six years when he became the embassador to the united
states for Israel. Later when he was an Israeli diplomat he renounced his

The Right Of Autonomy
<view this essay>.... subject to the will of another. This is
thought to be the primary obligation of man. In political philosophy, autonomy
is a refusal to be ruled, and authority of the state is the right to rule, there
is a conflict. If a man fulfills his obligation to autonomy, then he will go
against the claim by the state to have authority over him. Wolf states, “He
will deny that he has a duty to obey the laws of the state simply because they
are the laws.” This is the major conflict with political authority. Some
philosophers believe that a solution to this problem is the concept of
democracy.
This argument says that if men rule themselves then they would be both
th .....

Gangs
<view this essay>.... there is good evidence to point the blame at several institutions. These include the forces of the media, the government, theatre, drugs and our economic system. On the surface, are caused by peer pressure and greed. Many teens in will pressure peers into becoming part of a gang by making it all sound glamorous. Money is also an crucial factor. A kid (a 6-10 year old, who is not yet a member) is shown that s/he could make $200 to $400 for small part time gang jobs. Although these are important factors they are not strong enough to make kids do things that are strongly against their morals. One of the ways that kids morals are bent so that gang violence .....

Revolution Of 1800
<view this essay>.... In the fierce political battles of Adam's term this
orderly exchange of power seemed impossible to ever achieve but this
election proved all the skeptics wrong.
The Revolution of 1800 was so named by the winner of the 1800 election,
Thomas Jefferson. He called this election a revolution because his party,
the Republicans, peacefully and orderly received the power with nothing but
acceptance by the federalists. This was how the founding fathers designed
the government to be. It was revolutionary for America because this was not
even achieved in England until a full generation later and this country was
only a little over 20 years old. Other countries .....

Pluralism As The Most Descriptive Theory Of American Government
<view this essay>.... various
elitist theories, claiming that we as individuals have no voice, and are
merely pawns in some larger game, and there are those others who support
what is known as the pluralist theory. Pluralism suggests that policy
decisions are not the result of an individual citizen's vote (or a vote of
a population of citizens) but instead the result of the interaction and
competition of various interest groups. This theory, it can be argued, is
the most descriptive of America as we know it. There are several examples
on which to draw in order to support this theory. In the April 8th issue of
Time Magazine1, there appears an article titled "The New Party Bosses" .....
