Diplomacy At Work
<view this essay>.... essay, The Future of Diplomacy.
Diplomacy, in the eyes of Morgenthau, is fourfold. First of all, diplomacy must

how much power it has in relation to the country it is dealing with, and if it's

a nation must also take into respect the power of the other nation and the goal
it is trying to reach. Basically, all he is saying is that a country must also
take into interest the objectives and capabilities of the opposing nation.

It Is Time To Reaffirm Our Act

Initially, in the mid 1960’s, Affirmative Action programs were intended to protect minorities from racial and gender discrimination. Today, we need to demonstrate to ourselves that we have truly progressed towards a gender and color-blind society, since the inception of Affirmative Action. To materialize that goal, we must start adopting feasible alternatives that may allow us to value and select the most suitable individuals, among ourselves, based solely on the merit of our abilities and actions, and Not on our God-given skin-pigment and/or gender. Affirmative Action Programs have ingrained and e .....

Affirmative Action Is Wrong
<view this essay>.... a
society where equal opportunity, or at least a fair opportunity, was a
reality for more of our citizens. These programs were a response to
economic, political and cultural circumstances that demanded, then
encouraged, and then tolerated widespread discrimination on the basis of
such factors as color, gender and ethnic background. The common hope was
that these programs would be transitory in nature and would enable us as a
society to reach a point, at some future date, when they would no longer be
needed" (Shapiro). It is my opinion that we have now reached that date.
Continued use of the policy is much like continued use of a strong

Affirmative action is very noble when looking at who benefits from the outcome. Take a closer look at affirmative action. The people that are involved and the damage it takes on our society surfaces many doubts.
