The Crucible: A Review
<view this essay>.... and fifty years of developing our democratic government
and eliminating the scourge of Christian religion(sorry...) from our
governmental system that we could have avoided another witch hunt, but of
course being human we could not.
The ultimate message in The Crucible seems missed by the masses, we
still blindly accuse others of pseudo-crimes, and follow wholeheartedly and
blindly, when others accuse. Is it perhaps simple human nature to fear and
hate that which we do not know? Is the human race, as a whole, really this
close to the swamps and oceans from which we pulled ourselves? Has
evolution really just played some sort of immense prank on us, bestowin .....

The Characteristics Of Shakespeare's Comedies
<view this essay>.... A Midsummer Night's Dream.
The structure of Shakespeare comedies is common in all his comic drama.
The play goes through three phases. In the first stage there is order and
discipline. Then it goes through a situation where there is chaos and disorder.
Finally in the third stage order is restored again and the play ends in a
festive ending. In the beginning of A Midsummer Nights Dream we see that Theseus

Hyppolita, queen of the amazons. Then quickly the whole situation changes when

Hamlet: Chivalry
<view this essay>.... class.
The word chivalry has its roots in the middle French word for horseman,
chevalier. Chivalry as defined in Webster's Ninth Collegiate Dictionary
means "mounted men-at-arms." Chevalier also gave birth to a word almost
identical to chivalry: cavalier. Webster's defines cavalier as "a
gentlemen trained in arms and horsemanship." These are also synonymous
with knight. An interesting contradiction though is that the English
etymology of the word knight is trusted servant. This comes form the
Anglo-Saxon word "cnyht" (De La Bere 35). The idea of a knight being a
servant does not fit most people's ideas of knighthood or chivalry, but in
essence tha .....

that people should be able to see government in action without soundbites,
computer maps, models, images, music, and news anchor commentary. Brian feels
that if people can see government in action without the normal clutter, then
they can more easily make decisions for themselves about politics and the
workings of their government. In addition to C-SPAN, a second channel, C-SPAN2
has also been created. C-SPAN2 is committed to providing live and uncut
coverage .....

To show his appreciation, the servant asks for Romeo’s presence at the
ball. Romeo should have considered the servant’s warning; if Romeo
occupies the name of Montague, he shall not be permitted. Once at the ball,
Romeo is searching for a maiden to substitute the unrequited love of
Rosaline. Romeo happens to gaze upon Juliet, who charms Romeo. Romeo
