WHAT WALT DISNEY WORLD REPRESENTS
I worked in several capacities while I was down in Disney World. I will address each of
these categories as I discuss the different areas in which I gained considerable knowledge from my
experience. Let me first describe the company for which I worked.

Technology In The Home
<view this essay>.... a rubber flapper, allowing water to flow into the bowl. When the tank is nearly empty, the flap falls back in place over the water outlet. A floating ball falls with the water level, opening the water supply inlet valve just as the outlet is being closed. Water flows through the bowl refill tube into the overflow pipe to replenish the trap sealing water. As the water level in the tank nears the top of the overflow pipe, the float closes the inlet valve, completing the cycle. Enduring, Endearing Nonsense
<view this essay>.... from the mind
of Charles Lutwidge Dodgson, a shy, stammering Oxford mathematics
professor.
Dodgson was a deacon in his church, an inventor, and a noted children's
photographer. Wonderland, and thus the seeds of his unanticipated success
as a writer, appeared quite casually one day as he spun an impromptu tale
to amuse the daughters of a colleague during a picnic. One of these girls
was Alice Liddell, who insisted that he write the story down for her, and
who served as the model for the heroine.
Dodgson eventually sought to publish the first book on the advice of
friends who had read and loved the little handwritten manuscript he had
given to Alice Liddell .....

they can still go to universities that don't require high averages. Therefore,
many students can easily study in this highest level of education. However, all

Technology And Education
<view this essay>.... using technology to improve the educational process. School systems are considering the purchase of computer networks and justify its purchase by applying it to routine administrative tasks, such as attendance records and grading. While these tasks are very important, they only show a small part of what technology can do for a school. Technology has gone further than simply keeping attendance; it also focuses on keeping students interested and productive.
Educators are discovering that computers are facilitating learning. Also computer based communications, or Telecommunications offer many educational opportunities.

The Running Of The Bulls
<view this essay>.... into the wall which holds a small figure of San Fermin.
Religious believers say that the runners' "good luck" can be attributed to
the "hand of Saint Fermin" which reaches down from the heaven to the rescue
of a runner who gets into trouble. This celestial "hand" somehow diverts
the beast's attention and saves the threatened runner. Here, the runners
who are bunched up in a disordered pack, chant a homily to the saint to
entreat his protection just before the bulls are let loose from the pen.
"Of San Fermin we ask, as our protector, to bless us and safely guide us in
this run."
Before the race begins, chaos is formed. People are up and about

The Weapons Of War
<view this essay>.... to emerge. Renaissance men, such as Leonardo da
Vinci, Michelangelo, Raphael, Descartes, and Bocaccio gave contributions to
society that are still appreciated today. Even with all of these positive
and exciting changes, man's fatal flaw reared its ugly head throughout this
period. A plethora of wars and battles tarnished the Renaissance. The
Thirty Years War, the Wars of Religion, St. Bartholomew's Day Massacre, the
English Civil War, and the Peasant's War were responsible for only a
fraction of the lives that were wasted across Europe in the 15th to mid-
17th centuries.
The focus of this essay is not the wars that occurred during the
