This article was very controversial and stirred up much debate among scholars, politicians, and anyone interested in the future of international affairs. Slavery in America thrived and continued to grow because there was a scarcity of labor. They both had somebody missing from their family growing up. Lonnie's father died when he was a very young boy, and Jesus lost his dad to prison.
