Gaelic, or Irish, is one of the oldest languages in Europe. Gradually,
this beautiful language was replaced by English, which is now the common
language for almost the entire population. For more than fifty years, all
of the governmental leaders of the republic have tried to restore Gaelic.
So far, they have had little success. Toda .....

a select few are afflicted by it here and programs like Welfare and Food
Stamps (with varying degrees of success) seem to lessen the effects.
In Central America when one speaks about 'poverty' he/she is including a
large proportion of the population. One measure of poverty is the earning
power of an individual. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP) which is a measure
of income is around $12,000 in the United States. In Central America on
the other hand, the wealthiest Country, Costa Rica, came in at just under

Disneyland
<view this essay>.... It was a truly
euphoric experience to meet stars of all my favorite cartoons that I so
loyally watched every morning. When I reached preschool, and found out how
to “brag”, my trip to Disneyland was some of my best ammo. I laugh now at
the fact that Mickey and Goofy were just normal people, yet I was
overwhelmed at the time to meet such stars.
Several years passed, and I was now a twelve year old who
remembered Disneyland as a place where “little kids” go to meet Mickey
Mouse. Fortunately upon arrival to the park I realized I was wrong. I
soon realized that that my mature height of five feet and one-half inch had
given me a golden key to the doors of som .....
