In clarification, Jay Gatsby’s tiny aspirations might be seen as a direct result or reflection of the time in which they were cast, a period characterized by the elusive American Dream and, more notably, a great depression following afterwards. Gatsby rose to wealth, relative fame, and, yet, never achieved the contentment he was seeking. Sadly, it could be said that the boy boarding the millionaire, Dan Cody’s yacht was more satisfied in his wistful material goals than the man staring out across the bay .....

The respect comes when Macbeth listens to his wife, which talks about the murder. He respects her opinion and gives her a polite answer “We will speak further.” (I, v, 71). In Act I, ii we see that King Duncan considers Macbeth a brave soldier and good man “O valiant cousin, worthy gentleman!” (King Duncan, I, ii, 24). Anne Frank’s diary was probably the first work that people actually got too see what the Holocaust was all about. Certainly it must be the best book for the subject. The diary brings together her childhood and then only known surviving footage of Anne Frank. This is a great way to describe a portrait of Anne’s life, character flaws, and everything else. In order to enjoy this piece of literary work, you must first learn the importance .....

Perhaps on childhood holidays with your parents. The could be provoking these thoughts so that you can empathise later to what he is experiencing in the poem . This setting for many , will of course bring the Channel to mind , a gigantic image , provoking again thoughts, this time of France. The title itself however does not give you any emotional insight into the poem . I feel the poet did this as to not alert the reader to what is going to transcend upon them further in .....
