He then acknowledges that this plan is irksome. Descartes states that he is like a prisoner, one that is afraid to realize that he is dreaming this life. Descartes' argument should bring us to raise questions of our own about what we believe to be truths. In the light of his arguments it is hard to firmly root any of our preconceived knowledge. He shows us all of the difficulties there are in trying to do so. I do find his arguments convincing, for I have often found myself in life asking the same type of question .....

I think we should further investigate human cloning for research on the parenting process and other physiological experiments that can only be used now on identical twins separated at birth. These experiments when used could be used to gain insight on what our genes determine in our personalities. I also think that the achievement of us humans cloning ourselves would be a great achievement for the entire human race such as it was when we landed on the moon in 1969. At first glance many readers would wonder how the title evolved, but once you explore the text you begin to understand what the bases of Harper Lee’s message. Harper Lee has portrayed two characters as Mocking Birds. The first of these is Tom Robinson. Tom Robinson is a Negro living in Maycomb who becomes notorious when he is wrongly accused of the rape of a white woman. Atticus knows that the battle will not be an easy case to win, but decides to represent Tom Robinson, a .....

.... more than a century apart from each other, after rereading them numerous times, they left me with an unimaginable amount of thinking and writing ground. The two poems "The Sick Rose" and "Fog" are very much alike in the sense that they both use the introduction of weather and animals to shape the poem and give the reader a sense of displeasure. In "The Sick Rose" the poet introduces a worm and storm and in "Fog" the poet uses the fog and a cat. The subject matter is perhaps similar in these two poems with the fact that both poems embody foul weather that prevent life from flowing in its normal path. The government is giving these people my money for which I worked hard. The government does not ask for my permission to give these people my money. By letting these people on our lifeboat the government is drowning us all. Lear offers his land to his daughters – Goneril and Regan – but in return they must profess their love for him: “which of you shall we say doth love us most, that we our largest bounty may extend.” (1, 1, 56-57) By doing this, Lear gives an opportunity for his daughters to take advantage of him. Goneril “loves [him] more than words can wield the matter’ (1, 1, 60) and the same goes for Regan saying, “[Goneril] comes too short, that [she] profess [herself] an enemy of all other joys.” (1, 1, 79-80) They don’t really love Lear, but instead they love the power that Lear gives them.
