Towards the end of the story his rejection from their society of savage boys forced him to fend for himself. Piggy was an educated boy who had grown up as an outcast. Due to his academic childhood, he was more mature than the others and retained his civilized behaviour. Troy, or disappeared into a mass of his comrades, but Hector chose to stand
his ground and confront Achilles. "Ah for a young man all looks fine and
noble if he goes down in war…he lies there dead…but whatever death lays
bare, all wounds are marks of glory." If Hector had salvaged his pride
and retreated to safety, he would have lived to defend Troy. Therefore, the

To Kill A Mockingbird: Atticus
<view this essay>.... what Atticus told him, “…You just hold your head up high and be a gentleman.” Jem knows not to say anything rude back to Mrs. Dubose and he minds his manners. It is good to hold back the negative feelings toward someone else, spearing their hurt feelings and one’s regrets.
Another lesson Atticus taught the children is to not be prejudiced against anyone. Just because someone is different than one’s view of what is different does not mean that they need to be treated bad. If they are a different color, religion, or have a handicap, they are a human being just like any other person. When Scout’s teacher gets mad over one kind of prejudice act, but not about .....

The Hobbit: A Review
<view this essay>.... a high point in The Hobbit. Coming and leaving at odd times and at his own will makes Gandalf realistically human. Each dwarf also has his own unique points and personality. The setting of The Hobbit is also captivating. Tolkien's elaborate descriptions of all the places in the story are wonderful. Most scenes in The Hobbit are dark and mysterious, which I thought added to the grave mood of the story. The story of Bilbo's adventures is so dangerous that the many settings of the novel had to be gloomy enough to make up for the danger. There are many outstanding characteristics in this story.
With so many excellent attributes in The Hobbit, I found it difficul .....
