Camus wrote many novels and his writings, illustrated his view of the absurdity of human existence: Humans are not absurd, and the world is not absurd, but for humans to be in the world is absurd. In his opinion, humans cannot feel at home in the world because they yearn for order, clarity, meaning, and eternal life, while the world is chaotic, obscure, and indifferent and offers only suffering and death. The Romanovs
<view this essay>.... Tsar was little bit disappointed that he got a daughter not a son, but he encouraged his-self that the next one would be a boy. However, next one wasn't a boy, and the one after that wasn't a boy either. Grand-Duchess Tatiana was born on May 29, 1897, and then Maria on June 26, 1899. Nicholas was upset and with his wife searched for a solution. A son was necessary to take over Nicholas's throne when the time came. I do not know why but for some reason Russians during that time preferred male as a ruler of the country, even though there were successful female-emperors before. Katherine the Great is one of them.
Russians are very religious people. However, they .....

Deng Xiaoping
<view this essay>.... or view, you may come to conclude that
Deng Xiaoping was a force for evil and that he was responsible for taking away
the freedom of millions of Chinese citizens. Some people may even conclude that
Deng Xiaoping was a "power-hungry" dictator who would do anything to obtain
power. I have concluded differently. I believe that Deng Xiaoping was a force
of good. He has devoted his entire life to helping his country, China.
Before the Communist began to revolt, the Nationalists were doing a poor
job of running the country and did not keep their promise for land reform. Deng
Xiaoping believed that a Communist government would do a better job of running
the cou .....

Neil Simon
<view this essay>.... McClung's efforts brought about much change in Canadian society. While an examination of the reforms and movements she supported are obviously feminist in nature, it is difficult to determine the root of her feminist beliefs. Today's terms for first wave feminists were not used in Nellie McClung's era. Now, these activists are labeled as either maternal or equal rights feminists and such a label would seem to dictate a distinct philosophy and motives for reform. McClung is difficult to label since she seems to alternate between the two types of feminism. The discussion of first wave feminism is problematic as feminists are branded as maternal or .....
